CORE COMPETENCIES & TECH STACK
GAME CASE STUDIES
Escape From Tarkov
Managing & communicating with a hardcore, high-stakes community (including influencers) during volatile beta phases and complex technical transitions where player sentiment is tied directly to subjective experiences of cheating, gameplay difficulty and timetables.
Implemented continuous structured feedback loops between the player base and development team. Community sentiment was arranged by scale, tone, and content, alongside summaries and proposed actions to take.
Established regular clear communication protocols for any ongoing issues and wipe cycles to manage expectations. Operational interactions with individuals and management of regional ambassadors to ensure alignment across the global community.
Improved player retention and community sentiment during challenging development periods by fostering a sense of shared journey and transparency.
Bloodhunt
Launching a niche Vampire-based Battle Royale in a hyper-competitive market while building a brand-new community from scratch for a new IP, and dealing with communicating around early issues and development controversies.
Designed and executed a comprehensive community strategy focused on grassroots influencer engagement and transparent "Dev Diary" and survey-based learnings article content to humanize the development process.
Regularly communicated about ongoing issues and pressed for transparency by aligning with the dev-team and making sure we were clear about what was going on.
Cultivated a fiercely loyal core player base and achieved significant visibility during the launch window through community-driven word-of-mouth.
Exoborne
Maintaining long-term engagement and managing high expectations for an unreleased extraction shooter while operating under strict NDA constraints.
Orchestrated secure, tiered playtesting programs and designed automated community moderation tools (Zeppelin/Custom Bots) as well as planned and executed a communication strategy & player engaging ARG to protect intellectual property while gathering high-quality, actionable sentiment data. Additionally, I created a sentiment tool (sentitrackr) that helped present playtest sentiment and community data to the internal stakeholders that helped them prioritize.
Successfully executed communication & interaction plans across channels over multiple large-scale playtests with zero major leaks and documented high participant satisfaction scores, directly influencing game balancing before public reveal. The sentiment data collected were vital for continued development strategies.
